Our puppy has learned so much and we can't wait to see how she grows up with the Grateful Dog's help. Professionals who really care!"
I don’t think we could ever find another place as good as what we had with you so we are keeping her home with us. You set such a high bar for doggie daycare so we got spoiled and now won’t settle for less! Thank you again for taking such good care of Gracie for the past 2 years. You and Kate were so good to her and I’ll never forget it. Thanks again!”

I've had my Morkie, Claudia Jean, at a number of different trainers, obedience and agility classes, both in Vermont and Florida. Caroline is simply the very best. She has a quiet but reassuring manner with both dog and handler, and has taught my pup to behave, pay attention, play and jump hoops almost like magic. We feel very lucky to have found her!"

Thank you for donating your time to teach clicker training to some of our volunteers. Your program is incredible, your passion evident. The more knowledge our volunteers have the better the life of the animals. The ultimate benefit to all of the shelter animals is immense. You are an angel. It’ll be a better world when we can get everyone clicking! Thank you."
When our Border Collie mix started displaying anxiety and aggression issues we thought there was no hope. He began biting people and fighting with my other dogs. It was horrific! I feared for the safety of my family. Then I was introduced to Caroline Albert. All I can say is “SHE IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!” While I have worked with others who use the Clicker Method of training, no one has mastered the technique like her. She is truly gifted. Training from an aspect of love, patience and forgiveness she has transformed our pup into a much calmer and happier guy. Words cannot express my gratitude to her. Whether you are looking for some basic training or you have a pet with issues, you could do no better than Caroline!"

Our dog, Penny, has greatly benefited from attending this daycare & some of the training classes. She was a rescue with some behavior issues. Every week we see Penny developing healthier behaviors that please us & she loves to get positive reinforcement for the things she accomplishes. So glad we found you and your services because they have made being a first time dog owner so much easier!"
Samantha, my two year old Samoyed, loves her daycare at Grateful Dog. I never used daycare before because they were not as professional as Caroline and her staff. Samantha had to pass a personality test and show proof of all her shots before she could join the happy crowd. The pooches are constantly supervised and don't spend the day in small cages. When Sam comes home she is happy and tired and looks forward to her next play-day. I start training with Grateful Dog and look forward to that experience."
I really value Caroline’s experience and professionalism and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Grateful Dog to anyone looking for a training class or care. She is always there for me if I need advice, and I don’t think my rescue dogs would be the wonderful companions they are without her training, help and support."
Caroline Albert has a remarkable ability with animals, a totally positive attitude, and clicker training expertise. She came along at a critical time for my nine month old Golden Retriever and me, her 68 year old owner who'd never had such an energetic, frisky puppy. At first, Caroline just observed Ruby and me, evaluating our two personalities so that she was then able to tell me the best way for me (and my friends) to interact with the puppy. Then Caroline taught Ruby to walk loosely on her leash, to "go to the mat," and to "touch." It was amazing and thrilling to witness the ease with which Caroline, with her gentle firmness, her clicker and her pouch of treats, was able to get Ruby settled and doing just what Caroline wanted her to do. Now, a month after our first experience with Caroline and my own use of the clicker, treats, positive instruction and some phone conversations with Caroline, Ruby really knows how she should and shouldn't behave. I am so deeply grateful that Caroline has given me the confidence to use her positive method of training an animal and that she has taught me a pleasing technique for success."
Caroline is a natural teacher. I love how she demonstrates the click and treat method of training with my dog and then I get to practice in her presence so I can do this effectively on my own between training sessions. Caroline is also encouraging and patient with "me" and supports each session with emails and phone calls and customizes our training sessions with whatever issues Hensley personally needs. I absolutely love her positive style - she is a natural with dogs and my "Hensley" took to her immediately!"
