Our Signature "We Do It For You" training program

Unless you are an established client enrolled in our daycare or training classes, Board and Train has a minimum two-week commitment. We've designed the program to ensure your dog has time to settle into our home and adjust to their new routine. We can also accommodate extended stays.

How Do We Begin?

Let's meet! We like to begin with an initial consultation and inperson meeting whenever possible. We can then assess your dog's behavior, temperament and current skill level; we'll discuss your lifestyle, goals, and any behavioral challenges you may be facing. From there, we’ll recommend a customized training plan best suited to meet you and your dog's needs.

Not local enough for an in person meeting? No worries, we're happy to set up a phone or video call to get the necessary infomation to determine if board and train is the right fit for your dog.

Board and Train program is an ideal option for dogs of all ages, ready to learn how to live with their humans harmoniously. We prioritize emotional well-being and real life skills. Your dog stays in our home, living as a member of the family. This allows us to gently and consistenly create new, more welcome habits in every facet of your dog's life.

With a minimum two week stay, your dog will learn foundation skills like sit, down, stay, come, place, leave it and loose leash walking. Priority is given to teaching automatic attention and focus, while building confidence, curiousity and neutrality in new environments. We take pride in carefully socializing and desensitizing dogs in our care to a large variety of other dogs, people and environments. Through field trips, enrichment based daycare facilitation and our home based environment, dogs grow in skills and composure - and they thrive.

It is our privilege to be able to offer one of the only positive reinforcement Board and Train programs in the North East. We set ourselves apart by focusing on setting your dog up for success with skillfully designed training and well balanced enrichment plans.

Please note: Dogs struggling with reactivity, aggression or separation anxiety are evaluated on a case by case basis and may not appropriate for our program. When we encounter cases beyond our level of expertise they may be refered to Soul Dog Solutions, operated by Cassidy Albert; or another trainer in our network qualified work with you.
